The Pat Schindele Team 2024 Recap

As we settle into 2025, I’ve had a chance to reflect on all the events and milestones over the past year. I wanted to take a bit of time to recap what a joy this past year has been for me and my team, and thank you for being a part of it, either directly, or indirectly.
 | We had changes this year. Jackie Mumm joined as my new buyer’s agent. She is also a Montana native and has a work ethic and energy that I thought made her ideal for the position. She’s been a REALTOR® for years, but there’s one thing she’s experiencing for the first time this year; being a grandmother. That’s right, Jackie had her first grandchild just this year! What a blessing! |
Our Marketing Specialist, Ryan Lofgren’s family expanded this year, accompanied by a fulfilling and timely full time job offer elsewhere. We parted ways on exceptional terms and wish him nothing but the best! We know he’s going to be great and making a difference in the community.
| Coincidentally, Hilary Rothstein was looking for a part time job. We had worked with her at our previous brokerage where she was in marketing for 8 years. The timing was perfect, she already knew the job, and the team, and has integrated almost seamlessly into the role. We’re delighted to have her, though she says I’m even feistier than I was back then. Obvious slander. I’ve always been this feisty. | |
 | There was a huge milestone this past year, Jeanette Lynch celebrated her 10 year anniversary as my assistant. Not only did she survive 10 years with me, but she also decided to get her real estate license! It took 10 years of leaning on her but she can now legally give Real Estate advice and open lockboxes! She’s still working as my assistant, so don’t start saying that R word (Retiring), I’ve still got plenty of deals left in me, and I love referrals! |
| In fact, it wasn’t only Jeanette’s anniversary, it was mine as well. 30 years now I’ve been in real estate, and they haven’t kicked me out yet! On the contrary, I was even invited to the annual Keller Williams national convention where I received the Platinum Medallion for my individual CGI. In addition, our team was #1 in GCI and #2 in Volume in a five state region. Accomplishments aside, these conventions are an opportunity to share knowledge and experience across the franchise and make lasting connections. I truly treasure that opportunity. | |
 | One of my favorite Pat Schindele shindigs is our sponsored Billings Studio Theater show, which this year was Waitress. Wow. What a talented bunch of actors and actresses. It was a great event, so fun, and so many of you turned up to our sponsor night. The cast even surprised us with our own bus bench prop with the Pat Schindele name on it which, we found out, they used throughout the entire run! We had no idea, I was absolutely floored by the thoughtful gesture. |
Giving back to the community is an important part of the Pat Schindele Team moral code. Investing back into your community is investing in yourself, and your business. That said, here were a couple events we either hosted, or attended this year that were fun and impactful to our year!
 | Charitable contributions don’t always come in the form of a check or coins in a bucket. Sometimes, it comes in sweat and elbow grease, and sometimes it’s just bringing awareness to the cause. Red Day is the big volunteer day for Keller Williams. All KW market centers across the country close and agents and staff go out into the community! This year we all went out to support the Habitat for Humanity here in Billings. Some of us helped build the home, while others spent time working at the ReStore. |
| We worked together with the Billings Mustangs to host a fun raffle on social media to give away tickets. Working with Homer, the mascot was a joy, and it was great to connect the public with the timeless classic of a sport and we’re so lucky to have a team here in Billings! | |
 | The office hosted a free “Shred Day” where we had a big shredding vehicle come down and everyone purged their old files and taxes. Maybe a bit anti-climactic for some, but for real estate agents it’s quite the to-do. Along with the Shred Day, we also hosted a Back to School Backpack Drive to benefit Tumbleweed, the local organization that helps runaway youths and teenagers in need of help. We were able to fill over 300 few backpacks before it was all said and done! |
| We attended the Quality of Life run this year. Quality of Life is a program through the Billings Association of REALTOR®. They have an annual run each year where donations and entry fees go to a chosen local charity. This year, the run supported Warrior Wishes, which aims to help veterans who may have fallen through the cracks with niche needs that may not be covered by other programs. | |
 | For Halloween, our office co-hosted Trunk-or-Treat in the parking lot, which we’re happy to say was so successful, we had over 700 kids walk through and we nearly ran out of candy! If you have littles in your life, we encourage you to stop by next Halloween to say hi and bag yourself some goodies. |
| Speaking of littles enjoying themselves. In December we hosted our Client Appreciation Movie Night, where we invited all our clients to bring their friends and family to a special showing of the Polar Express movie at the Babcock Theater. Santa was there, Frosty the Snowman, and I even made an appearance as the Conductor before the movie, making sure everyone had their tickets! What an absolutely magical night, one that wouldn’t be possible without all our wonderful clients, and the relationships we’ve made. | |
And that brings us to now, 2025. I have no idea what this year is going to bring, but I know it’s going to be great. I have such wonderful clients, a wonderful team, a wonderful wife, kids, grandkids, and I look forward to each new day. I hope you’ll be as blessed this year as we have been this past year, and wherever your adventures take you, in real estate, or otherwise, we hope to see you there. Happy New Year, and blessings to you and your family.
